This is one approach to a hybrid PoW + PoS protocol aimed at being a safe first step transition from the current PoW protocol towards PoS. The design is incomplete, and the workshop begins with an overview of the motivations, goals, existing portions of design, and known open questions / unresolved areas. As a group, we will spend a portion of time brainstorming alternative approaches, then dig into either existing parts of the design or open areas to brainstorm next steps and approaches. Notes from the meeting will be shared to the public after Zcon4 to solicit further progress and collaboration.
